Enjoy a strong, beautiful smile at any age with the help of Dr. Chang and Invisalign Invisible Braces. Invisalign is a great option for patients who are concerned about how they would look with braces but don’t want to compromise effective results. The smooth, plastic aligners are comfortable and discreet, while still adjusting your teeth toward the smile you have always wanted.
Do you have any of the following dental concerns? Laird Eglinton Dental can help you!
These invisible braces offer many benefits, as they are easy to use and have a minimal impact on your daily life. Because your device is removable, there is no need to change your eating habits and you can brush and floss your teeth as you normally would.
At Laird Eglinton Dental, we are happy to offer orthodontic services including traditional braces and Invisalign. Orthodontics are required for a number of reasons including crooked, overlapping or overcrowded teeth, which can cause your bite to be off and can also make cleaning your teeth properly very difficult.
Sometimes tooth and jaw problems can be caused by losing baby teeth too soon, accidents, or habits like thumb sucking. But often they’re inherited, so if you or someone in your family needed braces, it’s likely that your kids will, too.Your friendly dentist at Laird Eglinton Dental will let you know if yourself or your child could benefit from orthodontic services. With Free Ortho consultations and interest-free payment plans, we make achieving that beautiful smile as easy as possible.
Dear Valued Patient,
We wanted to take a moment to update you on how the current COVID-19 situation in Ontario affects your dental care. We are OPEN and accessible to you during this time, as dental offices are considered an essential service by Public Health due to the importance of your oral health and hygiene.
We have taken a number of precautions in order to maintain a safe, COVID-19 free, environment.
– Pre-appointment screening forms. Before your appointment, we will send you a link to a wellness form. This is to ensure the safety of both our employees and other patients. If you are feeling unwell, or show any symptoms of COVID-19, please get in touch with us to reschedule your appointment.
– Curb-side waiting. To adhere to social distancing rules, we ask that you please wait in your car when you arrive at our office. Check in by calling us at our office phone number, and we will prepare to welcome you for your appointment.
– Increased disinfection. We are increasing how frequently we clean and sanitize our office, and our operatories are sanitized between every appointment, as always. As an added measure, all employees measure their temperature before the start of their shift, and are wearing all PPE in accordance with health unit guidelines.
– Medical grade air filtration systems. We’ve invested in the highest quality air filtration systems to ensure the air you breathe is clean, fresh, and sanitized. This technology uses a 6 stage purification system to capture dust, pollen, VOC’s, gases, mold, allergens, odors, bio-aerosols, viruses, and other pollutants, and includes a negative ion generator to help purify our air.
Prolonged periods between dental cleanings may result in gum disease – both bone loss and gum shrinkage, which can lead to increased sensitivity and tooth mobility. This is something we have already observed in our patients, so if you are due for your hygiene visit or have put your visit off due to COVID concerns, please know we have taken every measure possible to ensure your safety during your visit.
We encourage all our patients to keep their regular scheduled appointments and maintain their best possible oral health as another asset in their fight against COVID-19. This is a challenging time for us all, but we want you to know how much we value your continued trust and support. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our staff at (416) 333-0707, or by email at reception@lairdeglintondental.ca
Stay safe and healthy,
The Laird Eglinton Dental Team
